Sky Mountain is a great public course located between St. George, Utah and Zion National Park. The golf course features a beautiful terrain with fantastic views of the red rock surroundings. The view from the driving range and first hole are unmatched.
The course is not long, at 6,312 yards and a par-72. In benign conditions a player can score well on this track with straight shots off the tee which avoid the native desert and sagebrush, but if the winds kick up look out!
If you get the chance to play Sky Mountain, take it. And bring your camera because those may be the best shots of the day.

Sky Mountain is a fantastic pubic course. But be warned, if the forecast is for wind I don't recommend booking tee times at a course located in a town called "Hurricane."
