Wingpointe Golf Course is located at the Salt Lake City International Airport. The course is a true links style course, with rolling hills, undulating greens and water hazards. The course ranks one of the toughest courses in the state from the tips, the black tees. The course architect is one of the most well respected in the business, Arthur Hills.
Local golfers often refer to the course as "Wingy," and the course is well loved by locals.
The sand greens tend to roll smooth all year round and are a bit firm when it comes to approach shots, just like links courses in Scotland. Only well struck shots will typically stay on the green.
